Welcome

School Council is an advisory body of parents and community representatives that work together with administrators, staff and students to improve student achievement and success. We educate each other on what is happening in the school and the Board, and we set goals and collaborate to achieve them. Recently, we have applied for and received the Parents Reaching Out Grant to fund The Umbrella Project for students and families and organized fundraisers to fund various itmes at the school including new sports jerseys, Drum Fit and the Raz Kids Reading Program. This is an example of our whole school community coming together to enrich the school for all of our children. 

We are always happy to see new faces at our meetings and welcome you to join us at any time without commitment. Our meetings for 2022-2023 are listed below. You are also able to stay updated on all School Council activity by checking out the School Council group in Edsby. Also, we are often in need of volunteers to help out with events, pizza lunches, etc, so if you are not interested in attending meetings but would like to help out, please let us know.
